FABIO PRESETS FOR HANDBRAKE
Optimal x264 encoding using Handbrake, based on Fabio Sonnati's teaching.
A set of Handbrake presets, using the optimal settings in x264 to produce the absolute cleanest, highest fidelity, and leanest compressed H.264 MPEG4 web delivery files I can make, based on Fabio Sonnatti's articles on h.264 compression. The original article is here if you want more information on why and how.
The presets come in two sets for 23.976 and 29.97 and one set for high quality YouTube delivery (and recompression on their end).
23.976 and 29.97 groups have the following set of encodes:
- 640x360
- 960x640
- 1280x720
- 1920x1080
The YouTube set encodes at 1920x1080 for 29.97 and for 23.976.

Installing
Unzip and import the presets into Handbrake using the menu or the "+" button on the presets window. For organisation's sake, I put them into categories which you can make using the menus or the gear icon in the presets window.
